What People Are Saying About Us
My son began going to KidSpeak, Inc. shortly before his second birthday. He had not spoken at all yet, and we received the autism diagnosis shortly thereafter that we had suspected. Kerry was a terrific therapist – always enthusiastic, positive, and coming up with new ideas to engage Jackson. He is 8 now and in a mainstream 1st grade class. He continues to go to KidSpeak, Inc. for some fine tuning, but overall has done great. All the therapists we’ve worked with have been outstanding. They really listen and try to troubleshoot any issues or problems that crop up. Additionally, they proactively search for ways to take him to the next level. I highly recommend KidSpeak, Inc. to any parent who may be considering speech therapy for their child.
We are so thankful to Ms. Kerry for her amazing work with our son Tom. Tom started speech therapy with Ms. Kerry when he was four years old. At the time, his speech was difficult to understand, and he was often frustrated by his inability to communicate. He was very shy around new people and even his preschool classmates. When my husband and I first realized that Tom might need speech therapy, we were concerned that Tom would feel even more insecure about his speech. To the contrary, speech therapy gave him confidence! Within a few months, Tom was a happier and more outgoing child. And he absolutely loved going to “speech.” Ms. Kerry gave Tom the tools he needed to improve, and she made learning and practicing fun! Our experience with Ms. Kerry and KidSpeak, Inc. could not have been more positive. We are forever indebted to Ms. Kerry.
I would recommend Kidspeak, Inc. and Angela (our current therapist) to ANYONE! When we started our journey into speech therapy with our 2 year old we really struggled to find the right therapist/company. After working with another company (name not mentioned) and then finding Kidspeak, Inc. it became quite clear that they go above and beyond the call of duty. Kidspeak, Inc. provides an amazing service and really caters to the specific/individual needs of your child. My daughter tends to be very shy/cautious around others and our therapist always brings out the best in her. She waits for her by the door and always feels comfortable/at ease. Once again, I would recommend Kidspeak, Inc. to anyone based on the quality and care of the service provided.
KidSpeak, Inc. therapists take the time to explain everything, they are 100 percent honest with their assessments, and their approach to therapy is fun. My son always looked forward to his sessions with Julie. As a result, in over a year, I have seen a tremendous improvement with my sons speech, he has come a long way, and I continue to use the skills the therapist suggested, that are beneficial to my son. I appreciate and value their service and dedication.
Kidspeak, Inc. is the best program around for speech development. In just a few months, Julie Rabon, SLP, helped get my 2 year old from 0 words to almost a full vocabulary! It is amazing to see such progress in a professional, fun and caring environment. Being able to better communicate has made such a positive impact on my son as well as our entire family. I would highly recommend Kidspeak, Inc. to anyone with similar issues.
After transitioning out of the Birth-to-3 Program we were really unsure of who we could get to take over that would address all that our son needed. He had oral motor delays, as well as speech. With that said, I had found that not every office or therapist could address our needs since we had multiple delays. Through a friend, we found Kerry of KidSpeak, Inc. who has worked diligently on a weekly basis with our son to achieve his fullest potential. She has been very thorough in her treatment, as well as carryover showing us what we could do at home. When our insurance started to decline payment stating it was not necessary, she wrote to the company stating the medical condition and why treatment was critical he continue to receive treatments.
After a few years, Kerry went on leave and we were turned over to Rachael, who has been equally as instrumental in helping him. At 10 one begins to have self-awareness and on a couple of occasions she was able to instruct him on things to think about before speaking. These things would help him with his breath control, word formation and confidence.
There has never been a time when he really didn’t want to go to therapy. He has fun while he is learning and that’s the best way for a child to learn. The staff at KidSpeak, Inc. have been a very, very important part of Evan’s overall success. We are so pleased with what their education, training and work have done to allow our son to move forward. They gave him a great foundation. We have been with Kidspeak, Inc. now for 7 years and reflect with great fondness and gratitude.
